Hiya, I'm Sarah.
I'm an actor, writer, and maker.
Three silly facts
1) I am an Irish surfer chick. That's right-- while studying abroad at the National University of Ireland Galway, I beat out three other gals to make the team!
2) For one summer, I became the village weaver and pretended I was from the 1800s. Before moving to New York City for college, I spent my last summer working at Hale Farm and Village as a living history reenactor specializing in crafts. It was epic.
3) Scooby Doo and I are related. Ok. Not actually, but when I was little I thought having the same initials meant we were.
I was raised in the Ohio forests and rivers 40ish minutes outside of Cleveland. I moved to NYC when I was 18. There, I studied Collaborative Storytelling at NYU's Gallatin School with a minor in Medieval Studies. When I was 19, I lived in New Delhi, India for 5 months. When I was 20, I moved to Ireland. I have a wandering soul.
At 22, I moved to New Orleans, LA where I work as a professional actor, dramaturg, and filmmaker.
At 23, I will meet NYC and Mexico. I will act in two fricken incredible plays at Southern Rep, as Emmy in the regional premiere of A Doll’s House Part 2 and as #46 in the regional premiere of The Wolves. Come March you can see me onstage at one of my dearest hometown theatres, Dobama, as Morris in The Nether. I will also act in a professional film project, title TBA.
